Smiths Bletchington is a long established group of companies, primarily serving the construction industry in and around Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. Family owned since it’s inception, the business is now served by the fourth generation of the Smith family.

As operators of a major gravel plant, and a sizeable limestone quarry, the group is able to offer a wide range of washed sands, gravels and crushed limestone, for delivery on its fleet of company owned tippers. Further products offered include the merchanting of other aggregates, the production and sale of natural Cotswold block stone, and the production and distribution of recycled aggregates.

Safety Coaching have been assisting Smiths Bletchington with the following support:

  • Delivery of IOSH Working Safely for Mineral Products and IOSH Working Safely standard package for their workforce
  • Design and delivery of a company specific training program on risk assessment for managers and supervisors
