Summary
This IOSH Managing Safely for Mineral Products course has been specifically designed by Safety Coaching for the Mineral Products sector.
It is delivered powerpoint free with a great deal of interaction and interactive exercises throughout the 3 day delivery.
The course is aimed at anyone who holds the responsibility for managing people and is a mandatory requirement for managers and supervisors within some of our client base.
The difference between this course and the standard ‘off the shelf’ IOSH Managing Safely course is this includes the hazards and risks posed within the mineral products sector, rather than discussion of general hazards you may experience in the standard packaged course.
Delivered over 7 modules which include:
- Introducing Managing Safely
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
Following completion of the course delegates must pass a written assessment and then complete a workplace risk assessment within two weeks of the end of the course.
IOSH Managing Safely certificate awarded on completion.
To date we have trained many managers and supervisors within the mineral products sector in this qualification. Feedback is superb with many commenting on the interactive delivery style and how the course relates to their day to day job.
Did you know, IOSH suggest refreshing this qualification ‘regularly’, if you already hold an IOSH Managing Safely certificate you maybe able to complete the IOSH Managing Safely refresher course (1 day course) rather than completing the full three days again.
Please contact us for more information or find out more about the refresher course.
