Summary
This is not a traditional training course, it is more a facilitated IOSH Leading Safely workshop
Prior to the course taking place attendees will be sent access to the pre-read materials via an app to access their diagnostic tool and action planner and access to a short e-learning course.
It is strongly recommended that delegates complete this prior to attendance.
During the session we will cover:
- Health and Safety Leadership- Your role and safety and health responsibilities.
- Getting Health and Safety Right- Guidance on the effective planning and implementation of policies and workplace practice.
- Incident Management and Recovery- Your responsibilities and the potential penalties for non-compliance with health and safety laws.
- Personal Commitment- Your commitment to managing targeted plans for improving your organisation’s health and safety performance
As part of the course assessment Learners use the diagnostic tool, accessed via a mobile app, to identify their current safety and health position against a set of critical questions. The tool recommends the actions they should take.
At the end of the course they make a commitment to a personal action plan to improve their own and their organisations’ safety and health performance.
Submission of each learners personal action plan and review by our assessors results in learners achieving an IOSH leading safely certificate.
